Dragging along her best friend Mitch, the girls set out by themselves on a two-night camping trip in the rugged Montana wilderness. Taking utmost safety precautions, their adventure goes nearly as planned until they are are faced with a grisly discovery—a fatal bear mauling. Realizing her dishonesty put them both in grave danger, Bobbi struggles with outside opinions, and questions her own right to coexist peacefully with nature. (Ages 7-12)
